During the winter term, the following lectures are provided:

### Quanteninformationstechnologie (Quantum Information Technology)

Within this lecture, the students learn the basic principles of quantum computing. If you’re interested how qubits can be used to, for instance, factor prime numbers and solve other problems, we’re happy to welcome you for this lecture!

### Anwendungen der Quantentechnologien (Applications of Quantum Technologies)

Here, an overview of the application of quantum technologies is provided and it will be shown how, for instance, color centers can be used for quantum technological applications.

### Seminar: Quantentechnologien 1 (Quantum Technologies 1)

During the winter term, the students have the ability to work on a topic with close relation to quantum technologies. They are supervised one-to-one by a PhD-student of our group and have the chance to dive into a specialized topic and learn about the underlying principles.

## Summer Term

### Quantenmechanik (Quantum Mechanics)

In this lecture, the students learn the basic principles of quantum mechanics, which is the prerequisite to understand quantum technologies and their applications.

### Quantensensorik (Quantum Sensing)

Have you ever wondered how diamonds can be used for the sensing of magnetic or electric fields? If yes, then this is your lecture!

### Seminar: Forschungsthemen der Quantentechnologien (Research topics of Quantum Technologies)

During the winter term, the students have the ability to work on a state-of-the art research topic from the field quantum technologies. They are supervised one-to-one by a PhD-student of our group and have the chance to dive into a specialized topic and learn about the underlying principles.
